Leutkirch, July 20 2026: With the new models V 6.8 SF and V 6.8 SCF, Etrusco is presenting a fundamentally further developed generation of its successful van series at the Caravan Salon 2026. For the first time, one of the brand’s most in-demand model concepts has been rethought – with a clear focus on greater flexibility, comfort, and contemporary use. A key element of the revision is a newly integrated pull-down bed in the front area, which makes the brand’s top seller even more versatile and opens up new possibilities for everyday travel. The selectable interior variants build on the design concepts recently awarded the iF Design Award 2026 and the German Design Award 2026, underlining the brand’s commitment to contemporary design and a homely atmosphere.
With a width of just 2.14 metres, Etrusco’s van models have stood for compact exterior dimensions and well-thought-out layouts for years. With the new generation, the brand is now taking a decisive step further and expanding the proven concept to include a pull-down bed in the front area.
It complements the existing spatial concept and creates additional sleeping options without restricting the open living character. This ensures that the interior remains spacious and usable during the day, while flexibly adapting to the needs of travelers in the evening.
“Our current market data clearly shows that nearly half of today’s caravanners live in households with three or more people,” says Christian Striebel, Managing Director of Etrusco GmbH. “At the same time, expectations for additional and flexible sleeping options are increasing. With the new layouts and pull-down beds, we are responding specifically to this development and consistently evolving our van models in line with our customers’ needs.”
In the rear, both variants continue to feature large single beds that can be converted into a double bed if required. In combination with the pull-down bed, this creates a variable sleeping concept designed for both couples and changing travel requirements and groups.
The modern vario bathroom supports the consistent spatial design and integrates functionally into the overall concept. Both models are also specifically aimed at traveling families: with Isofix fixtures for child seats, the van becomes particularly suitable for everyday use and family-friendly – without sacrificing the typical character of a compact van with a width of 2.14 metres.
“The SCF layout has always been one of the most popular within our model range – not least among dog owners,” says Sandra Marinaro, Product Manager at Etrusco GmbH. “The spacious face-to-face seating area and the open living zone offer plenty of freedom of movement and make traveling with four-legged companions particularly comfortable. This is exactly the kind of everyday practicality we wanted to further strengthen with the new generation.”
Both models on a Ford base also come with an extensive range of standard equipment, including features that make the journey to the holiday destination particularly comfortable: a 12" multifunction display with SYNC 4 as well as Apple CarPlay | Android Auto and cruise control. The integration of modern infotainment and comfort functions underlines the ambition to make mobile travel intuitive and contemporary.
With the V 6.8 SF and V 6.8 SCF, Etrusco demonstrates how a proven bestseller can be reimagined for today. The combination of a familiar layout, a new pull-down bed, and modern equipment makes the van series ready for new travel needs – flexible, comfortable, and clearly tailored to the requirements of different target groups.
